As in Champion league the score of 120runs looked huge. Australian captain Ricky ponting said "I think it will be low and slow as we saw through the Champions League. Pretty hard for the batsmen to score," he further added "Spinners will play a big role no doubt, but if the fast bowlers bowl well, they are going to be the hardest ones to score off," Rotating the strike against spinners might be a bit easier than against the faster bowlers."

But the Vijay Bahadur Mishra the Kotla curator say different story according to him "We have been watering it and rolling it repeatedly to make the top layer firm," he said. "We left it uncovered last night too. The idea was to let it absorb as much dew as possible.

"What we have got here is a wicket somewhat like the ones at Sharjah, not fast and bouncy but firm.

West Indies Players in Dispute With Their board | WI 2-1 Vs England Do or Die |

Chris Gayle

West Indies are leading the series by 2-1, Skipper Chris Gayle led from Front by smashing all over the ground.

Today Match for England is Do or Die Situation.

Skipper Gayle Smashed 80runs in just 43 balls with 8 sixes and 5 fours.

Due Rain the match was reduced to 44 overs per side before the West Indies target was later adjusted to 117 on the Duckworth Lewis method.

Andrew Flintoff came from injury, didn't made any difference he went for a duck when he hooked a simple catch to Fidel Edwards off Bravo.

After winning the third one day West Indies Skipper Gayle told England's final match of the one-day series next week in St Lucia remains under threat of strike action from West Indies players in dispute with their cricket board.

Gayle further added"We need a better infrastructure and match fees and we just want everyone to benefit out of this. It's not about us who are playing for West Indies, it's more about the regional players.

"This stuff has been going on for years and it's about time some proper infrastructure was there. Guys have played first-class cricket for years and have nothing to show for it - they need to play for West Indies to earn some sort of living, which is very disappointing."

Gayle was also critical of England batsman Kevin Pietersen as both sides prepare for tomorrow's fourth match of the one-day series at the Kensington Oval.

The West Indies captain was incensed by Pietersen's criticism of Shivnarine Chanderpaul, who he claimed "plays for himself", and has already spoken to the Hampshire batsman about his comments.

"I was very shocked to hear that sort of thing and very disappointed in Kevin Pietersen making these sort of comments," said Gayle. "He has no right to make that sort of comment.

"Whatever issues he had, he should have kept to himself. I've played with Shiv for years and, as a captain, I get tremendous support from him both on and off the field.

"His batting in both forms of the game has been brilliant and to hear these sorts of comments out in public has been very disappointing."

He added "I did speak to him Pietersen and told him I was very disappointed in him. He didn't need to stoop to that level and I let him know straight up that I was disappointed in what I had heard.

"He didn't actually apologise and if he could apologise that would be nice. We're all big men but there's no need to go to that level and degrade other players.

"No one wants to be degraded in this manner. We're all human beings and everybody is playing this sport to enjoy the game but to take it to that level is very disappointing."

Australia Vs South Africa 2nd Test | Kingsmead, Durban

Australia Vs South Africa 2nd Test
Kingsmead, Durban

Australia back in the Top in the Cricket Rating for Best Test Team. After Defeating South Africa in South Africa, Australia will be looking to Lead the Test Series, At present Series is 1-0.

Bryce McGain's chances of making his Test debut, but Australian Skipper Ricky Ponting said it would be difficult to change Australia's winning side. This side has played really well over five days. There have been really valuable contributions from everyone when they needed to do it

The second Test begins at Kingsmead on Friday and Australia's two slow men, Bryce McGain and Nathan Hauritz, are hoping to be in contention. However, the three genuine fast bowlers Mitchell Johnson, Peter Siddle and Ben Hilfenhaus performed strongly and their medium-pace backup Andrew McDonald built the pressure with economical spells and collected a wicket in each innings.

After winning the First Test, Ponting said We'll have to have a closer look at that for Durban. One thing we do know down there is that the ball will always swing in Durban as well, particularly early in the game.

South Africa Skipper Smith added "Generally Durban is a good wicket with good pace and bounce It has been over the last period of time a really good Test wicket that deteriorates as the Test match goes on so certainly as a team we won't be making any panicky changes. We've got Albie Morkel coming into the squad but other than that it's just about improving our standards."

Australia Won the First Test | Mitchell Johnson Man of the Match

Mitchell Johnson

Mitchell Johnson Leads Australia to win the first test against South Africa on the final day by 162 run.

South Africa Chasing a big total of 454 were bowled out for 291, Mitchell Johnson took 4 for 112 and Siddle took 3 for 46 put Austalia 1-0 in the three match Series.

Man of the Match Mitchell Johnson also scored useful unbeaten 96runs, I felt a bit flat this morning and the legs were heavy but seeing how Siddle and (Ben) Hilfenhaus bowled really encouraged me, Johnson said.

Johnson further added "Patience and persistence were the keys, patience is very important on a pitch like that.,"

After the Victory Pointing said "This has been a very good team performance by all of us, with three debutants playing in this game, and at different times all three stood up and did a great job I thought," he told Sky Sports.

Pointing further added"We've had a long time to think about the home series that we played and the mistakes and errors that we made, and I think we've rectified most of those this week.

"Not going in with a spinner and picking Hilfenhaus over Bollinger, we figured here is where the ball is known to swing around a bit and the way it seamed around for most of this game justified those selections.

"It's just a really good solid effort from the 11 players on the field and the off-field people that have supported us this week, it's been a real team effort to turn things around and having won our last two Tests against this South African side I think this team is bouncing back and showing a lot of good qualities."

New Zealand Vs India | Not to Worry about Wickets Taylor

Ross Taylor

India Will face New Zealand Twenty20 International on 25th Feb and 27th Feb 09. Before the start of the Series, New Zealand middle-order batsman Ross Taylor said India should not lose sleep over the nature of the tracks here and the two Twenty20 Internationals would be enough for them to get used to the bounce.

Taylor further added "I think a lot of people have made a lot of the wickets the last time they were out here. I think the wickets have improved a lot since then. I don't think the Indians need to worry about green, seaming wickets,

It shows in our domestic form. The little dibbly-dobbly bowlers aren't having as much success as they had five or 10 years ago. That is good for New Zealand cricket that the bowlers are having to work a bit harder for their wickets and I am sure over the next month or so, the Indians will see how our conditions have changed," he said.

"There's a lot of cricket played. The idea is to adapt as quick as possible. There will be a little bit of getting used to for the Indians but our wickets aren't as bouncy as Australia," he said.

"I am sure after the first two Twenty20 games, they would have got used to the bounce and in the nets as well. That won't be a factor come the first one-dayer. It will be interesting to see how it goes," he said.

At the end Taylor "India would be the best team going around in all forms of the game at the moment and it is exciting for us to play against them and see where we really are on our home turf. Hopefully, we will have some success. But I am sure the New Zealand public will have a good series to watch,"
