ICC announces sanction Pakistan players - spot-fixing charges
ICC has announced a sanction for three Pakistan players for spot fixing charges.
Salman Butt for 10years
Mohammad Asif for 7 years
Mohammad Amir for 5 years
The sentences are open to appeal by both sides - players and ICC.
Mohammad Amir is brilliant bowler which Pakistan miss in the upcoming 2011 world cup.
Mohammad Amir lawyer said he will file an appeal with the Court of Arbitration in Sports (CAS) against the five-year ban imposed on him by an independent tribunal.
None of the players spoke publicly and are not expected to. Their mood was difficult to gauge, though Karim said Amir had remained composed through the hearings as he was confident of his innocence
